Michael Tuohy

Coaching Staff - Assistant Manager

Aims for 2019: “Fulfil the potential we see in the squad, have a competitive season and do the best we can to break ground.”

Michael Tuohy first joined Celtic in the January of 2018 as an academy head coach, leading the under-19s to second in the league and a League Cup title, before moving to the first team under manager Eddie Wolecki Black.

On the pitch, Tuohy currently plays at junior level and has played in the States while at university in Pittsburgh. Notably, he played under Scotland Women manager Shelley Kerr during her time at the helm of Stirling University Men.

Away from Celtic, Tuohy works with North Kelvin Sports Development Group - a charity in North West Glasgow that educates children on healthy lifestyles and anti-sectarianism.

Aims for 2019: “Fulfil the potential we see in the squad, have a competitive season and do the best we can to break ground.”
