“My biggest strength is I’m fast, my aim is to knock the ball past players and get deliveries in the box,”

The tricky winger first caught the attention of Eddie Wolecki Black back in 2014 when the pair were at Glasgow City. While developing in the club’s youth system, Wolecki Black awarded the playmaker’s efforts with a first team debut appearance against Slovakians Nove Zamky in the Women’s Champions League, at the tender age of just 16.

While at City, Hay progressed through the academy and drifted out to the wing from central midfield when she moved up to 11 a-sides. In 2017, in the hunt for more game time, she and her younger sister Brogan left City and joined Hamilton Accies and Rangers respectively.

Shining at Accies, Hay was on Wolecki Black’s radar again as he built his squad for the 2019 season, leading to her being among his first three signings for Celtic.

“My biggest strength is I’m fast, my aim is to knock the ball past players and get deliveries in the box,” the playmaker said.
